OUR LEGACY HHLA was founded in 1997 to serve the unique needs of the rapidly growing home healthcare industry. HHLA was able to develop a kit that ensures that a specimen’s clinical integrity is maintained during transport time and regardless of extreme temperatures. Vanderbilt Medical Center provided the oversight to HHLA’s validation process and today they continue to serve as our Medical Directors.
While HHLA’s customers include all home healthcare providers needing lab support, the company’s key customer base is the home infusion therapy provider. The Company currently serves as the exclusive lab provider for two of the largest national home infusion therapy providers in the U.S. In 2001, HHLA secured equity funding that provided the opportunity to develop a national sales force and to begin capturing the much larger regional/local market sector. Our goal is to maintain our position as a clinical leader and market innovator through the development of products and services for existing and new customers. |
