Laboratory Update-Upcoming change for PT and PTT testing.

HHLA is changing the methodology , reagent and instrumentation for PT (Prothrombin Time) and PTT (Partial Thromboplastin Time) testing. A comment noting this change will appear on your lab report.

The reference range for these tests will change. Please note the new normal ranges on your patient's LabProfile report.

Once implemented, the change will not provide you trended lab results for PT and PTT tests until you have established multiple samples using the new methodology .
